It is with an incredibly heavy heart that the Newark National family mourns the unexpected loss of NNLL legend, John Talley. Those who knew John are familiar with his impact on this league and the entire Delaware baseball community. The decades of service, the immeasurable knowledge he shared and the lasting bonds he formed with his players and their families will never be forgotten. Coach Talley was part of the Newark National community for over 20 years, coaching both regular season and multiple championship All Star teams. His coaching style, drills and team management skills are part of what turned Newark National into the powerhouse we are today and his practices will continue to be shared for years to come. Your presence, both on and off the field, will be missed, Coach Talley. 

We ask that you keep the Talley family and friends in your thoughts and prayers throughout this most difficult time. 

Visitation has been scheduled for Monday, February 8, 2015 1-3pm at Mealey Funeral Home on Limestone Road. A Celebration of Life will follow.
